I am a registered provisional psychologst with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Armed with a solid foundation—a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services from Athabasca, and a Speech Language Pathology Assistant Diploma from Medicine Hat College—I possess a wealth of foundational knowledge in supporting individuals with their social and emotional development.
My journey includes meaningful experiences, from fostering youth development in academic and social settings to peer mentoring with FASD youth. As a community mentor, I actively engage in the youth sports community, emphasizing collaboration and collective support.
Professionally, my focus lies in providing compassionate care for individuals experiencing various issues, including depression, anxiety, relational (e.g., social, marriage, parenting, etc.), trauma, and those grappling with existential concerns like identity, life transitions, grief, and loss. I employ trauma informed evidenced-based approaches such as person-centered, solution-focused, emotion-focused therapy, cognitve behavior therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy with plans to broaden my scope to include internal family systems.
Eager to apply my growing knowledge and skills, I am committed to fostering a supportive environment for youth and adults.
